From presenting your vehicle to discussing the result. Here is what to expect at the station.
Arrive and present your vehicle
Give the inspector your vehicle documents. We will confirm the scope of the inspection and take payment before it starts. To check how busy the station is, call ahead.
Inspection in the testing bay
The inspector checks the brakes, suspension, steering, lights and tyres, among other things. The scope of the checks depends on the vehicle and the type of inspection.
Your result and next steps
After the inspection, you will receive a certificate and the inspector will explain the result. If any defects are found, they will explain what needs repairing and what to do next.

We generally carry out periodic inspections without an appointment. Visit during our opening hours. Waiting times depend on the number of vehicles; you can call ahead to check how busy the station is.
Which documents should I bring?
Bring your vehicle registration certificate or temporary permit. If you do not have the document or your vehicle's situation is unusual, call before your visit — we will explain which details and documents you need.
What do I need for an LPG/CNG car inspection?
Bring the tank documents: the inspection report and the decision authorising the tank for use. Check that they are valid before your visit. If you have lost them, information on duplicates is available from Transportowy Dozór Techniczny (TDT).
How long does an inspection take?
A standard passenger car inspection usually takes around fifteen to several dozen minutes. The time depends on the vehicle and the scope of the checks. You should also allow for any queue.
What happens if my vehicle fails?
The inspector will identify the defects and explain what to do next. Once the defects are repaired, a reinspection may cover the affected components and systems if it is carried out at the same station within 14 days of the inspection. The scope and fee depend on the vehicle's situation.
Do you inspect motorcycles and gas-powered vehicles?
Yes. We inspect passenger cars, motorcycles, mopeds and vehicles with LPG/CNG installations. Prices for our most common inspections are listed above.
Can I pay by card?
Yes, we accept card payments at the station.
